Questions, answered
WatchYourMoney is a manual, private, offline-first money coach. Here is what that means in practice.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Monthly and yearly Premium plans include a 30-day introductory trial where the store offer is available.
Do I have to link a bank account?
No. WatchYourMoney does not support bank linking or transaction import in version 1. You log only spending that breaks your own rules.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Daily rules, check-ins and logging work in airplane mode. Optional account sync happens later when a connection is available.
Which currencies are supported?
USD, TND, EUR, GBP, SAR, AED, MAD and CAD are supported, with amounts formatted for your locale.
How does billing work?
Native Apple and Google in-app purchases are primary. An additional Polar web checkout may be shown only to eligible US storefront users.
How do refunds work?
Apple and Google handle refunds for store purchases. Web purchase refund instructions are listed in the refund policy.
What counts as a slip?
A slip is the same rule broken twice within its period. Weekly rules use a rolling seven-day window and count reviewed days only.
How are Emergency entries treated?
Emergency entries never count toward slips, leaks or off-plan totals. Your coach records the context without turning it into a judgment.
Can tough-love coaching become harmful?
The coach addresses spending behavior only. Brutal push is opt-in behind a confirmation, and no coach talks about worth, appearance, income level or mental health.
Is my data private?
The app is manual and offline-first. It does not collect bank credentials or card details, and version 1 does not import transactions.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Use the account deletion flow to delete your account and synced data. Local app data can also be removed from your device.
Is this financial advice?
No. WatchYourMoney is a behavior and planning tool. Saving, investing and repayment templates are examples you choose and edit, not financial advice.
